Africa

All profits from my African photos purchased during my exhibition in Noosa Heads were given to Rotary here in Noosa Heads for the education of underprivileged children in Africa. The charity that Rotary was chosen to support is ‘The School of St Jude’, an established and growing school in Tanzania. The funds will be given directly to the school to further expand and educate those orphaned and vulnerable children from the lowest socio-economic backgrounds who, under normal cicumstances, would never have the opportunity to have any education whatsoever. The school has a web site that you are invited to visit at www.schoolofstjude.org. where they regularly publish a news letter. The school was founded in 2002 and is run by Gemma Sisia recently awarded Member of the Order of Australia(AM). Gemma is originally from a sheep farm near Armidale.
